What does inhause do?
We source and deliver dairy ingredients for food manufacturers. We operate as a principal merchant — we buy from processors and sell to manufacturers — with full transparency on pricing, origin, and specifications. Our platform provides live pricing, market intelligence, and end-to-end order management.
How is inhause different from a traditional broker?
Traditional brokers operate on opacity — you rarely know the true origin, landed cost, or alternative options. We provide full visibility through our platform: live pricing across origins, specification comparison, and documentation for every shipment. We're your sourcing team, not a middleman.
What's the minimum order quantity?
There's no fixed minimum — it depends on the product and origin. We regularly handle orders from 500kg samples through to 50MT+ monthly contracts. We'll work with you to find the right parcel size for your production schedule.
Which regions do you source from?
Primarily Australia and New Zealand, with select supply from the US and EU. We maintain a network of 200+ verified suppliers across 14 countries, but focus on Oceania for quality consistency and proximity to APAC markets.
Products & Specifications
What dairy ingredients do you supply?
WPI90, WPC80, MPC85, MCC (Micellar Casein), MCI (Milk Calcium), Cream, Milk, and Stockfeed/Downgrade. We're continuously adding new products based on customer demand.
Can you match a specific specification?
Yes. Tell us your application, protein target, solubility requirements, and certifications needed. We'll recommend the optimal product and origin, and send a sample for your lab to validate before you commit to volume.
Do you provide Halal and Kosher certification?
Most of our supply is Halal and Kosher certified. We confirm certification status for every product and include documentation with shipment. For infant formula grade, FSANZ compliance documentation is also standard.
Pricing & Orders
How does pricing work?
We provide live market pricing through our platform, updated from real executed trades — not industry surveys or estimates. You can request spot pricing or lock forward contracts. We're transparent on our margin structure.
What are your payment terms?
Standard terms are Net 30. We can discuss extended terms for established relationships. We also work with receivables financing to provide flexible payment structures for growing manufacturers.
Can I lock pricing for future delivery?
Yes. Forward contracts are available across all products, typically 1-6 months ahead. In volatile markets, this is one of the most valuable things we offer — price certainty so you can plan margins with confidence.
Logistics & Delivery
How do you handle shipping?
We offer EXW, FOB, CIF, and DAP terms depending on your preference. For domestic Australian orders, we manage full logistics including cold chain where required. For export, we work with established freight partners across APAC.
What documentation comes with each order?
Every shipment includes: Certificate of Analysis (COA), allergen statement, traceability certificate, Halal/Kosher certificates where applicable, commercial invoice, and packing list. All documentation is available digitally through the platform before physical arrival.
